Become TESL Certified to Teach English Abroad
In our TESOL Certificate program, Trainees will be able to explore teaching, learning and language through task-based, participatory and interactive experiences, leading to an exciting and rewarding career teaching English abroad.
Trainees learn how to teach by doing, reflecting, and then observing highly experienced professionals. The program is composed of 100 instructional hours, and 6 hours of observed teaching.
The TESOL Certificate program is designed for international students with a teaching background, or for students who are interested in teaching English as a Foreign Language.

Program Schedule*
Monday to Friday
(Vancouver) 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm + Observation
(Toronto) 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm + Observation
(Observation hours may vary between 8:30 am and 6:00 pm)
* When a statutory holiday occurs, class hours will be made up on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Admission Requirements
Letter of intent outlining your goals for taking the TESOL Program
Interview: Successful interview with a TESOL Program representative
Educational Qualification: High School/Secondary School Diploma or higher education
Non-native speakers: ILAC Level 14 or equivalent
Experience: Teaching experience and/or a background in education is recommended.
