Three former students from the Service Excellence for Business program returned to ILAC International College to share their success stories with us.

I really found what I want to do for the rest of my life,” said Isabele Marques. Isabele currently works as a Marketing Coordinator at Hays, a leading recruitment agency, providing permanent, temporary and contract services to professionals.

As a former SEB student in 2016, she acquired many skills that gave her the foundation to get a job at a growing company. “My manager at Hays gave me more responsibilities every week. At the end of my internship, they hired me and I am thoroughly enjoying what I am doing now”. In addition, this position relates to her professional background as she completed a BA in Advertising and Marketing in Brazil before coming to Canada. She is grateful to ILAC International College and the opportunities it has given her through the SEB program.

Oumar Nablezon is a graphic designer and videographer at ILAC. Hardworking and goal-driven, he was hired by the company for his fresh ideas and creativity. His ambition and positive attitude are what motivated him to enroll in the SEB program. “English is a skill you need to succeed anywhere. After creating my fashion company and finishing my Bachelor’s degree as a Project Manager in Multimedia, I decided it was time to leave my city and go bigger. When I arrived in Toronto, my English was so bad. Now I am much more confident”. His motto: “If somebody can do it, I can do it, and if I can do it then you can do it too!

Lenka Boksova lives by this motto as well. Since arriving in Canada in 2014, she is always on the go, making everyday count. This knowledgeable Slovak got a job at the LCBO as a Customer Service Representative, but soon realized she wanted to take her skills to the next level. After taking the SEB course, she felt ready to take on a new role. Currently, she works as an Assistant to the Financial Director at Ready Freddy’s, a restaurant and café in Toronto.

Remember, if they can do it, you can too! These three professionals are proof of what success looks like. Believe in yourself and opportunities will appear! Take a look at our Service Excellence for Business program to make your Canadian dreams a reality.
