We offer a TESOL Diploma program that conforms to TESL Canada standards and Language Canada’s Quality Assurance guidelines. It has been perfected through more than 2,000 hours of research and development and is taught by industry experts.
Trainees will be able to explore teaching, learning and language through task-based, participatory and interactive practice.

(Toronto) 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm + Practicum
(Practicum hours may vary between 8:30 am and 6:00 pm)
*When a statutory holiday occurs, class hours will be made up on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Practicum
Trainees become classroom ready by teaching international students, alongside their TESL Canada approved host teacher, in an ILAC classroom during their Practicum week using the knowledge and skills they have acquired in the TESOL Diploma Program.

Admission Requirements
Application form with a letter of intent: Outline your goals for taking the TESOL Program
Interview: Successful interview with the TESOL Program Director
Educational qualification: Undergraduate degree
Non-native speakers: TOEFL iBT Score 101 (minimum of 27 in speaking/writing, 23 in listening, 24 in reading) OR IELTS Academic 7.0 overall with a minimum score of 7.0 in each skill area*
*All proficiency test results must be valid and achieved a maximum of two years prior to the application date.
